The Romantic Route: Gentle Side of Germany


The romantic route is the famous tourist route in Germany which is spreading through several German federal provinces, the route where tourists go to fall in love.

The “Romantic rout” is a road that connects the most romantic areas and places in Germany and was created in 1950, during the economic reconstruction of Germany after the Second World War. During the construction of the road, these countries have been recognized as a land of incredible historical, natural and cultural values, so that during its nearly 400 km as it is possible to see some of the most precious treasures of this country.

This route connects all the valuables of Germany from the city of W├╝rttemberg on the Main River in northern Bavaria to Fischen, and to the famous castle of the Neuschwanstein castle. If these two locations are taken for the starting and ending points, there are fairy-tale medieval towns, castles, and fortifications, as well as romantic cities among them.

You can always go on this trip, and go all the way at once, or split into stages. What cannot be missed is the cities of Vicksburg, Augsburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Dinkelsbyl, and Neuschwanstein castle. Especially with its history and beauty is the Rothenburg Ob der Tauber, and the Tauber River Valley, a city of more than 1 millennia, preserved and proud.
